Last updated: February 16, 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your booking and participation in tours, activities, and equipment rentals offered through Shtegtimi. By submitting a booking you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. What's Included

Each tour listing specifies what is included (e.g., guide services, accommodation, meals, transport between stops). Unless explicitly listed as included, all other costs are the participant's responsibility.

2. What's Not Included

Unless stated otherwise, the following are not included: travel insurance, flights or transport to/from the meeting point, personal equipment, tips, alcoholic beverages, and any services not explicitly mentioned in the tour description.

3. Booking & Payment

  • A pre-booking is a non-binding expression of interest. It becomes a confirmed booking once accepted by the organizer and the deposit is paid.
  • A 30% deposit is due upon confirmation to secure your place. The remaining balance is due 21 days before the tour start date.
  • Prices are per person unless stated otherwise. Prices are fixed at the time of booking confirmation.

4. Cancellation Policy

  • More than 30 days before departure: Full refund minus any bank/processing fees.
  • 15 – 30 days before departure: 50% of the total tour price is refundable.
  • Less than 15 days before departure: No refund.
  • Cancellations must be communicated in writing (email or the platform's messaging feature).

5. Force Majeure & Weather Decisions

Shtegtimi and its organizers reserve the right to modify itineraries, substitute routes, or cancel departures due to unsafe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control. In such cases:

  • An alternative date or modified itinerary will be offered where possible.
  • If no alternative is feasible, participants will receive a full refund or credit for a future tour.
  • Shtegtimi is not liable for additional costs (flights, hotels, etc.) incurred by participants due to force majeure events.

6. Guide Authority

The lead guide has full authority over safety decisions during the tour, including but not limited to: route changes, activity modifications, group splits, and the decision to turn back. Participants who disregard safety instructions from the guide may be excluded from the activity without refund.

7. Participant Responsibilities

  • Participants must accurately declare their fitness level and disclose all medical conditions that may affect their safety or the safety of the group.
  • Participants must carry valid identification (passport or national ID) and any required travel documents.
  • Participants must behave respectfully toward other group members, guides, local communities, and the natural environment.
  • Littering, unauthorized trail modifications, and disturbance of wildlife are strictly prohibited.

8. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver

Outdoor activities involve inherent risks including but not limited to: difficult terrain, weather changes, altitude effects, rockfall, water hazards, wildlife encounters, and delayed rescue. By booking, you acknowledge these risks and confirm you participate voluntarily.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Shtegtimi and its organizers are not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from inherent outdoor risks, provided reasonable safety measures were in place.

9. Travel Insurance

Participants are strongly advised to obtain travel and health insurance that covers outdoor adventure activities, including helicopter evacuation and medical repatriation. Shtegtimi is not responsible for uninsured losses.

10. Equipment Rentals

Rented equipment must be returned in the condition it was received, accounting for normal wear and tear. Participants are responsible for loss or damage to rented equipment and may be charged the replacement cost.

11. Data & Privacy

Personal data collected during booking (including medical information and emergency contacts) is used solely for the purpose of organizing and safely conducting the tour. Data is shared only with the assigned guide/organizer and, where necessary, emergency services.
